Converting the Freenove (FNK0052) Hexapod Robot Kit into a ROS2 Learning Project.
About This Project:
- Creating a Digital Twin with Fusion360
- Develop a distributed network to leverage remote resources (think GPUs, Databases, Sensors, etc.)
- Implement Forward/Inverse Kinematics, GAITS, PIDs in Python
- Implementing SLAM for Path Planning
- Implement AI models for object avoidance, obstacle climbing.
- Implement a Gazebo Simulation environment to train AI models.
- Modify the Robot with additional power resources and sensors.

My name is Orlando Gordillo. I was born in a small town called Laredo, Texas. I have a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at El Paso. I also have 10 years industry experience with Robotics Operations and Software Development for the Space industry. My main strengths are DevOps and Rapid Prototyping.
